FAQ – Quick Answers to Your Queries

General & Admissions

What are your OPD timings and hospital working hours?

Our OPD is open Mon–Fri from 9.00 am to 4.30 pm, and Saturdays from 9.00 am to 1.00 pm. For emergencies, casualty services are available 24×7.

How can I register as a new patient?

Visit the Reception desk during working hours, pay ₹100, and you will receive a case paper and a Permanent Registration Number (PRN).

What if I am a follow-up patient?

You retain your existing PRN. The registration fee for follow-up visits is ₹50.

What is the registration process after working hours?

Registration is done at Casualty. An OPD case paper is issued and PRN assigned, with fee ₹150.

How does inpatient (IPD) admission work?
  • During working hours: You are assessed by the unit doctor, admission instructions confirmed, consent signed, required deposit paid (₹3000 for regular, ₹750 for day care), and guided to ward.
  • After hours: Initial assessment by resident doctor / RMO, then similar steps follow.
What about emergencies or medico-legal cases?

Emergencies are treated immediately. For medico-legal cases, police are informed, and documentation (MLC register) is maintained. Unidentified patients are labelled “UNKNOWN” and treated, with identity updated later.

Are international patients accepted?

Yes. Standard admission procedures apply. In addition Form C is submitted to FRO & police, and passport/visa copies retained.

What if there is no bed available?

A waiting list is maintained, and you are called when a bed is free.

Treatment & Packages

Do I need prior tests before Ayurvedic treatment?
In many cases, yes. We may recommend blood tests, imaging, or other modern diagnostics for safety and to guide therapy.
Can I customize a retreat package or combination of therapies?
Yes. All our Panchakarma and specialty packages are flexible. After a consultation, our doctors can tailor the schedule to your needs.
How long before I see results?
Every individual’s response is different. Some may notice improvements in days or weeks, while chronic conditions may require longer duration and sustained follow-up.
Are Ayurvedic therapies safe to use with my existing conventional medicines?
In most cases yes. But it is crucial you share full medical history and current medications so our doctors can plan therapies safely and avoid interactions.
Can I continue yoga or strenuous exercise during treatment?
We discourage heavy physical activity during therapy. Gentle yoga, meditation, and slow walking are often recommended. Our doctors will advise what is safe for your condition.
What kind of diet is recommended during treatment?
A light, easily digestible, sattvic (pure) diet is generally advised. We avoid heavy, spicy, oily foods. Specific diet regimens are part of your treatment package depending on condition and dosha balance.

Specific Programs & Logistics

What packages do you offer?
We offer Panchakarma retreats (for mental health, skin rejuvenation, hair regrowth, pre-conception, etc.) and disease-specific packages like Vaman, Virechan, and Shodhan Basti.
How many days should the retreat be?
Many programs begin with a 3-day / 2-night format. Longer programs may be recommended depending on condition severity.
Do you provide room types and facilities?
Yes. We have general wards, single rooms, and VIP rooms with amenities.
Are your Ayurvedic medicines in-house or external?
We use classical formulations and high-quality medicines. Some are prepared in-house under supervision, while others are sourced from trusted suppliers.
Do you support out-of-town or international patients?
Yes. We help with logistics, accommodation for accompanying persons, and guidance for medical travel documentation.
